SOS Protest 17 Feb 2008

The public protest on Walberswick beach on Sunday 17th February 2008

Thank you ,Thank you ,Thank you to all those who supported us on the day

What we achieved

  • Over 1700 people joined us to make the SOS protest on Walberswick beach – over twice the original, ambitious target!
  • The community came together so that the little people could make a big noise – and feel involved in the battle
  • The protest achieved widespread coverage on TV, radio and in regional and national press
  • Such a loud public voice being heard gives extra power to the lobby groups fighting the sea defence and Blyth proposals on our behalf

The sun shone on the righteous
Thank you again

Together we CAN make a difference.
